It worked out so I was able to go pick up the new scoop today, rather than wait til next week for ups to bring it (thanks Chuck). Of course, the weather went from unseasonably warm to temps in the teens, the lakes being iced over again, and the wind forecast isn't good for a few days on the big lake. But, got it rigged and ready to go. Didn't plan on the carbon fiber handle, but after he handed it to me, it was pretty much a done deal, amazingly featherlight, yet rock solid.
I have had many scoops over the past several years, trying to find what works best for the places I hunt. This one looks like it's gonna be a real winner, can't wait to get it in the water.

all 1/2" holes, 1/4" supports

When I bought my Stealth 720i last year and used it I thought that this is it, someone has finally made the perfect scoop. When I look at the 920iX it looks like I will be buying a new scoop this year but like Dewcon said I would like to see the one with the 1/4 holes in the back. When I'm water hunting I try to equip myself with the best equipment possible and IMO the Stealth scoop is a no brainer.

it's just a couple inches wider than a 720, an inch less tall and a half inch shorter in length.

Wider is I guess all you really want, to help get that target in 1-2 scoops. Especially in the water and rough surf. Nice scoop!!.. and I hope it digs up many gold for you.

Mike...... i think the 1/2 holes around here work pretty darn good. But ...... i get a lot of tiny copper bullet pieces that i hate to chase. Ive learned how to SLOWLY let the buck drain long enough to see the target..... but it takes valuable time. 1/4 holes would be the ticket. I get it about being a little wider, i used to use a ProScoop which is what the T-Rex is designed after. I liked the 1/4 holes...... but with the entire scoop being 1/4 it didnt drain as fast.

We will be judged by our scoop. If you don't have the 920iX you could be seen as a noob.
