Has anyone had good success with hunting the many limestone formations along the ocean ridge in Florida? Here in South Florida where I live, we have the Anastasia Formation. It has huge limestone rocks along several beaches, even some caves. These have tons of little holes and crevaces in them, many are right in the wet area of the beach. They can create a trap of sorts to contain all kinds of stuff. Digging can be difficult, because once you locate a target and are down to the limestone, you must get out some tools and go digging into crevaces. This can be particularly hard and time consuming if there is water present. Just curious if anyone hunts these areas. I think recovery is particularly difficult in these areas, so that many hunters may avoid the hassle, yet over time these areas have probably trapped some good booty.
