Here ...about 20' from the shoreline we got about one foot of snow.

I shoveled in 3 segments; morning , afternoon and late evening just to keep ahead of it; Hank can't do any shoveling because of his injuries, although he wanted to, but I kept him "at bay" in front of the "Golf Channel"

I can get out of the driveway now, so maybe I can get to the beach tomorrow...that would be so relaxing.

Lorraine

Hmmmmm......a snow mobile and a trailer with a snow blower on it....and then off to the beach for a little detecting! :laughing7:

It's difficult to determine the time frame, SurgTech because these are just some of the rings from the entire "stock" that I decided to put into a display box ; the remainder of my gold finds I have either melted, or am keeping in safe deposit.

Been detecting for about 10 yrs. Was lucky the first few years; these are from a few years ago; things lately have slowed down around here ( for me , anyway), but maybe there'll be a "turn around " soon.

I went almost 5 years from the time I started this hobby until I started water hunting and that's when I found most of my jewelry except for some junk rings at ball parks or tot lots. A lady invited me to detect her family's property that used to be a resort back in the 1920's, but just can't get to it until next week and will be lucky to hit it one day a week. Looking forward to the opportunity, but part of this property had some large gators in the river that borders this property. No telling what I might find, but it's got me ready to go.

Good luck with that hunt. Sounds like a real cool spot for some oldies. Bring a bang stick. Gator tail is always a party favorite
