Got out for a two hour water hunt at a freshwater beach. A guy had a girl on his shoulders and I heard him say his earring just came out. I waded over to him and told him I could find it. They started playing around again while I looked for it. I hit a target and looked in the scoop and there was a tiny silver chain and I mean thin. Its 20 inches and only weighs 1.9 grams. I found the earring next and waded over and showed the guy his earring in my scoop. He reached in and said "now if I only had the other one". I said 'WHAT?"...He said his buddy just put him in a headlock and the other one came out. I found it within three swings of the coil and said "Dude, don't loose em again"...he laughed and said he was going to put them up...I also found a 1964 silver Rosie...glad the warm water is finally here. Good luck to all you fellow pirates.

Clean the dime with tinfoil. All you have to do is get some tinfoil the size of a playing card spit in the middle of it the place the dime on it spit on top of the dime and make sure its completely covered the fold the tinfoil around the coin as tight as you can without ripping it then let it sit for about 10 minutes then unwrap the coin spit on it again and put baking soda on it then rub this will work great. Your fingers will turn grey and it will come right off I had the nastiest crustiest dime and it is now shiny

Great story and nice silver. Got to love that AT PRO! It sniffs 'em out pretty well.

Yeah, a weak little 38,39 on the AT pro...if I wasn't looking for his earring I might not of dug it because there was lots of tiny can slaw reading around 40 where I was hunting.
