Finally got to get down to the beach for a long awaited hunt, when the day started I should have known it was going to be a good one. Easy parking and there was a strange hazy sky which broke into a beautiful sunny day. Hunted all day with the WOT and in reverse discrimination mode, feeling discouraged by the beach being sanded in but happy to be out on the beach I took a long stroll checking and digging every target that sounded positive. After tons of pull tabs pops out some yellow! Gold grills, the second pair to date, and nothing less then 16k in the mouth. Continuing on and at the point of the beach where I'm about ready to call it a day and out pops a heavily encrusted oddly shaped coin.
The question is...is it a real reale. Soaking it for gentle cleaning. Hoping it's real but I have my doubts. They are a pretty close knit family operation No we're not close like that.. We have messaged back and forth here and there here on treasurenet and I've given him a quick shout hello from the beach before while they were working.
I am friends with a couple folks who run salvage operations though.. Troy and Bonnie being a couple of them.

When conditions are real bad for one type of hunting sometimes it's better for another type I picked up something pretty cool a couple days ago

Very nice gold finds. Hope the Reale is real. I could say something about the gold grills that would only be appropriate for the charter member political discussion thread area, and no its not racial, just not politically correct. I will leave that one alone for when I haven't been imbibing of the 21 year old Glenlivet single malt Scotch. Ha Ha
