It's comming up date!!

Sunday May 3,2015 I found a ring of a life time. Over 2 1/2 ct.in Diamonds. the center stone is 1.5 ct. Pics. and apprasel to follow later.:hello2::hello2:

Well it's over 3 ct. in diamonds . the center diamond is almost 2.25 ct. all set in 18kt white Gold. the value retail is over $12,000, it sold for $8000 cash The ring was found with a sand shark and was over 12'' deep in the wet sand. This s the Biggest Diamond I have ever found that I got to keep. There was 3 other guy with detector there.

He said it sold for $8000 cash so that may be the only photo. I would have liked to know the color, cut, and clarity. It might have been worth much, much more.

Just enjoy......

If it is only picture, it is only picture, but members need to understand for banner we need good quality pictures....

I don't think he sold it...I think he meant he found them retailing for $12,000 and seen them selling for $8,000...I may be wrong but that's how I read it.

Shooting jewelry is a very tough thing to do especially with diamonds. My brother shoots rings for advertising and it is not a simple task like shooting a coin or relic. Try shooting it with a tripod against white or black. That being said nice find.

Hey Ron ! BIG Congrats!:hello2::hello2::hello2:

Interesting that the humble Sand Shark found it and not the high powered Garrett ATX.

No disrespect intended as I have both of those machines too...and the Shark is the more fun one to use (although I prefer the Dual Field).

Of course this deserves a Banner...and hoping a better photo..that ring really deserves it!

I've had issues as well trying to photo diamond rings i've found. Never can quite get that right shot.
(Examples attached, including 1 honker quite like Ron's ring) ... Hard to beat the sharks for the bling!

Well done Ron!

As long as members understand poor pictures can keep a find from making banner...
