6 hour hunt by the Lighthouse last week

I was digging every target and removed about a pound of trash.

After finding this cross I double checked the hole and got this pendant and nearby this earring that looked great in the scoop but turned out to be junk.

Ok now the payoffs of the hunt

1st ring was this skull ring stamped 925

2nd ring was this old looking Masonic ring with a small diamond stamped 14K
it looks like its been down there a long time but it was only one scoop deep so it must have been a fresh drop.

Short video of the hunt and I had a chance to meet some nice tourists from Romania and Atlanta.

It is a state park and I ask the rangers every time I go just to make sure its ok. Just stay away from the sea oats and grassy areas and fill your holes!!!

If there is anything left to dig its going to be fresh and thank me for taking out the trash:laughing9:

Great video, great finds and nice scenery, you sure are trusting, very rarely do I let people know that I found any jewelry, I always say change and beer bottle caps!

Yeah, Ive read in the Florida state park rules before that the park rangers have final say over all rules...so they can give permission for anything they want...good for you and go get some more gold and silver. :icon_thumright:
