hi, got out for a short hunt b4 the sun up. not alot found. question ..what would be the best way to clean the black crud off what i think may be a silver earring? also bottem of pic is the 10 francs coin from last week.happy fathers day to all dads,hope your all as blessed as i with my son.have a great day to all and happy hunting

Have you put a magnet to it? Looks like a rusty steel earring to me. A soak in some vinegar for a few hours followed by a baking soda rub usually takes care of those deposits.
