Spending more time hunting in the water now as suggested earlier. Usually there before low tide and hunt 3-4 hours.
Been nice since the temps have been hitting 100+ with heat index.
My question, how do you choose where to hunt the water. Are you trying to find features on the bottom?
The beach I hunted this weekend for example. In water from knee to chin deep I zigzagged back and forth looking for targets and some kind of line.
Bottom was table flat every where.
Thanks for all suggestions

Being that you stated waist to neck deep makes me believe this location has mild to no wave action. Targets should not move around that much I wouldn't think. Keep hitting where all the people are swimming. Seems like you're doing everything right. Just gotta get the coil over it. GL HH

Look for troughs, low spots and sand bars.

CWB - I have the same questions. I am going to a place paddle boarding in an area just off of the ocean. The water is extremely calm and is only about knee deep (2- 3 ft.) for over 100 yards. The beach was filled in over the winter with about 50 ft. or more so the current beach line is what used to be the ocean. It seems like the entire waterline has sand bar type lines every few inches for over 30 yards. Does anyone have any advice for such a situation?...Brad

Observe the beach and watch where groups of people conjugate.......All beaches have "zones" where people group.....
