I've chased many low tides over on the East coast of FL thinking there would be a chance at finding more targets in less hunted portions of the beach. I have only found a huge expanse of stale sand! most targets that are out there are probably so deep you could never pick them up or even retrieve them for wet sand filling in hole.

Unless you were there on one of those minus tides days, right after storm erosion. Then it wouldn't necessarily be sterile :)
