When my buddy and I are grid-ding off an area and fairly close to each other, we both like to take a little trash we have in the pouch and toss it out in front of the other and watch him dig it up for a big....WAH, WAH ,WAH.....

Usually something that meters a potential find, so you know he'll dig it.
Just for sh!ts and giggles and break up the morning up a bit.

Anyone else do that as well?
you gotta break it up a little right?

LMAO! If I had a MD buddy.....hell yeah! My best friend lives up in north Florida now. If he was here, definitely!

We did worst things than that to get a joke....like putting grease under his car door handle, fun suprise when leaving work...this was when we worked as mechanics. So many jokes!

Few weeks ago I was out at beach with some friends and brought my detector. Knowing I was going to get heckled I placed a gold ring (from my scrap collection) in the sand and 30-45 min later I dug it . The look on their face was priceless. Now one of them is planning on getting a detector

I hunted with a buddy of mine once... I brought a pocket full of quarters and kept tossing them in his line far enough up that he couldn't see me.

After about the 5th surface find he looked up at me and started laughing because he realized what I was doing.

We both got a good laugh.

I wouldn't throw trash though. I let him keep the quarters since it wasted a bit of his time.
