One less shark to worry about. Sort of sucks that it died.

You can track sharks like Katharine OCEARCH.ORG ยป. Katharine, a 16 foot, 2300 pound great white that likes Cape Cod Bay and even comes to the Gulf of Mexico to visit.

You can zoom the map in to see how close she (and other sharks that are tracked) get to shore. They are tracked when they reach the surface long enough to send a signal.

Interesting to see which ones are in our respective areas and how far they travel. Be safe!

I always let some one like Casper or Plymouthiandawn a wet suit, get out deeper then myself and make like a seal...Works for me!
Lucky for detectorists the beach is in the National Seashore area and as such, no detecting if permitted. Federal Law.

gotta wonder if it was not off limits - specially for out of staters - Ive had a bunch of guys tell me they were heading out that way - wanting to hit shores in from Whydah - and have told them - off limits - if not - we might have had a few casualties
