Broke the crust off the huge silver from yesterday

away from home but some people wanted to know what was under the crust
will give a lite scrub with baking soda when I get home
but at least we know what I got - I had told some others
on other forum that it might be a high school ring or military
military it is - USN - marked sterling - think at least WWII
but could be WWI era
there are eagles on both sides of the scroll
