So I went to a lake about an hour away. When I got there I noticed alot of gravel on the beach. I instantly began to think of a back up plan "B" for the day. Then I got in the water and saw nothing but bull rock! Uggh...I began swinging around over the bull rock and didn't get a single signal. I was just about to execute plan "B" and saw the rock gave way to some better gravely sand material and the targets started coming. This swim area is 2/3 covered with bull rock and 1/3 gravel/sand. I spent over 5 hours pulling loot outta this little spot and still didn't cover it all.
A few firsts..
Highest clad count at $16.68 (alot of quarters)
Highest ring count for one hunt (6)
First gold and silver wedding band and it's a honker (12g)
The rest of the rings are: sterling wedding band, three stainless bands, and one plated with cz.
Moral of the story? Don't judge a book by its cover. What I thought was going to be a dud turned out to be the most productive hunt yet. It was alot of fun.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting to you all!
