Don't go looking like a seal...we have sent the sharks that ate several Cape Cod seals this summer back your way. They just
might be a bit hungry by the time they get there.

70 degrees...that is like bath tub water well at least swim suit water. Maybe I'd use breathable waders, but not neoprene at 70.
At 55 I am definitely in waders. At 42, the gauntlet gloves are on, the sand is moving and it is just about the best detecting time.
Around 45 I get my 5mil waders ready. Right now our water temp is just under 50 and I have not gone to my 5mil waders yet,
maybe another 2 weeks. This year I plan not to go into the water if the water temp is below 32 and / or the air temp is under 35.
And that does not take into account the wind chill.

Take care and dig the soft targets...

As the water creeps up you legs I'm sure you will break out in a nice smile when it hits the important stuff...

I hate getting in when it's below 80.

us fla. boy can freeze to death in 30 mins. in 70 degree water cause by Hypothermia. Once the body temp. get below 90 degree the body start to shut down and then you slowly die.

You'd never hunt in the water here in San Diego if you waited for 80 degrees! :laughing7:

Just got back from a 3hr hunt in shorts and a rash guard at Indian Rocks, waist deep. It was perfect temp! I'm betting you were hot in that 3mm suit today.

Hope you found more than I did! All I found was a drunk Canadian who made a beeline for the beach when I told her I was married. : D

Soooooooooo how'd the hunt go and how did that suit work out? I know what Ron is saying........7 or more hours in the water and you get cold even in 70 degree water with a little wind. I start out with a dive vest ..... then progress based on water temp....... im NOT getting cold. Thats why i moved to FL...... my body seems to sweat much better than having my teeth chatter or driving home with the heat on full blast.
