Update on the 46g PT800. I've attached some better photos and have the 18k 5g next to it for scale. I'm still hunting for its many little cousins out there. [emoji4]

Who in their right mind goes to the beach in 55mph wind gust with rain coming down sideways? Me. See below why. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1454268631.777655.jpg

Let's start with the fun stuff. A class ring and 2 silvers. Hopefully I can find the class ring owner (looks like steel).

Now one for the wife or daughter. Their discussing this topic and is still yet to be resolved. 14k bracelet with little diamonds. Not broken and ready to wear.

This next one would normally be the highlight of any day at the beach...but not today. Not even close. 18k (5g) with 6 little stones that test real. Definitely could have left the rain and surf at this point. But I stuck it out for 30 more minutes.

Last, and certainly not least is the HUGE PT800 (80% plat, 20% palladium). Weighs in at 46g. Wasn't very deep and nearly blew my ear drums with the excal. I thought it was just another rust bolt until I saw a glimmer of shine. By far my heaviest to date. The 4 stones are real too.

Thank you El Niño.

That platinum ring is a stunner and your runner ups are nothing to sneer at either.

OBN, thank you. I'd love my 2nd banner :-). I am still amazed that someone not only wore something that big, but lost it at the beach.

It is easy to loose a ring that weighs 46g. With 1-1/2 ounces of PLAT on your finger the guy is lucky he didn't loose his whole hand.

Well, I'll be a blue-nosed gopher!:hello:

Don't know how I missed this post until today:dontknow:

Mega congratulations on those fabulous finds, redcobra:wav:!

Even with the impediment of that terrible weather you kept at it and were rewarded so impressively!

I wish you continued success.

I'm finding only clads these day....maybe should move out west :laughing7:
