gray matter finds (sinkers/fishing weights)

I bought a mold to make these like 15 yrs ago - you can usually find molds for different sizes
I made a bunch for myself - and a few others using sinkers and other lead I found long ago
I have now built up about another 300ibs of lead in the last 10 yrs of sinkers
(I hit a lot of fishing areas that used to be swimming areas)
the other thing I did way back when was my father and I bought sinker molds too
and made brand new sinkers out of the old ones - we used a bunch and I sold a bunch
other guys I know scrap theirs each year - either pays for batteries or some gas
its all money from the hobby
I know guys that throw them away -
one guy told me that he has a spot at low tide at his beach (not one of my spots)
that he deposits them before heading in every time he hunts- so he says theres like 50+ pounds of them out there in one hole
- he says no one
has dug them because spot goes off like a man hole cover and at low tide spot is over 100 yards from parking lot
so even if someone found them - they'd need a wheel barrel to get them back
