Hi Guys,

Had to do some free dive training this morning between -30ft (-10m) and -60ft (-20m). Decided to take my new Garrett Pro-Pointer AT, the All terrain version to check if there was any issue under the advertised 10ft...

I was amazed by the quality of the product and I feel confident to scuba detect with it at depth down to 45ft and even a bit deeper. The push button still functions!

Congrats Garrett!

Hey Frog - Thanks for testing it - I wasn't sure if I should try mine when the water gets warmer here in Minnesota. Now I will for sure. Wondering something.....why no gloves? I can't dive without them, just seems like a part of me down under!!!

I only wear gloves for Spearfishing now and when I scuba dive for +1h ... I love to swim into the sea and I find gloves very uncomfy. Since I have forgot my pair of gloves...I always forget them!

With constant weight (only with the uses of my fins) I can go down 80/90ft. With a mecanical assitance, I can easily reach >210ft (60m). I usually touch those figures at the end of august/september when I'm well trainned and the water is warmer.

I plan on taking my Garrett Carrot to a. Few beaches that are off limits to treasure hunters during the summer to recover a few items.[emoji33]. Why wait till after Labor Day when beaches are open to everybody?

Thanks OBN, it just in your mind: hold your breath, keep calm and enjoy...that's the secret of free diving.

Without moving, everyone can remain at least 5'30s without breathing!
