Happened to capture these 2 beauties in the scoop early this morning on the upper slope.



Total of 2.07ct and 18k

Funny thing is I was following an Excalibur II user down the beach when the CTX rang out @ 12-07

Call it skill, fate or luck, like I always say, if I'm meant to find it my coil will run over it...

I have a CTX.. That's not so much the machine but the machine and the man... Most any mid to upper beach machine would of nabbed that find.... GREAT JOB
Surprised it came up as 12.07.. usually finer jewelry hits that low on the 12'er reader.

When you said gold/diamond monkey, I thought some little asian lady musta lost her good luck charm. Last year was year of the monkey, if I'm not mistaken, which was proceeded by year of the snake.
Asian lore, the monkey is the only animal able to overcome the snake. May have some kinda astronomical/astrological meanings.
