Thanks sandswimmer. Do you use this bag? Or did you just find it on ebay to help me?

The ones on eBay and there are two made in the USA by the same seller - the difference is the width of the belt. I have the wider belt for two reasons. First my summer detecting partner has the narrow belt; it is easier to ID my belt. Second, it is the BEST bag I have used in 35 years for use and hanging hip mounted detectors off of it. Rugged to say the lest and over 1500 hours in the salt and fresh waters, it shows NO signs of wear. The second, smaller, goodie bag is not inside, but has its own zipper on the outside. Much easier to just drop the good targets in the to fish out the inside bag. Disadvantage here is that IF you miss the opening...you have to dig again, not just search through the junk targets. I would rate this bag AAA+ for water detecting.

The [FishPondUSA mesh water bottle holder item 1956] search for it -- is only the size of a soda can but served me well for years before the above bag. It is limited is the amount of trash you can put in it, but for fresh water beaches...it was my only bag I would use, and I have two of them. For salt water I often had to leave larger target in the water as I had no way to carry them for 4 hours. Solution, went for the bigger bag.

Hi Can, I bought this pouch years ago, but hardly ever use it now. I have a mesh pouch that my lady friend made for me that I like even more. It's a single zippered 5x10 inch all mesh pouch on a nylon belt and is only used for coins and junk. Rings go on the fingers of my scoop hand which is the only hand that I wear a glove. SS

I used that kellyco came one for awhile. The zipper failed for no reason. I went to a local scuba shop and got something for like 10.00...

On the beach I just use my cargo pockets. In the water I use an inflatable live well from Bass Pro; reason for the live well is because too often I find something I want to eat, then I find more, and more and more, before too long I have a nice meal.
