Slow start this season. 1 Titanium & these 2 Tungsten. I guess I hunt the less elite beaches.

Pretty cool finds man.

Less Elite beaches, I doubt that. I have full rights on 6 kilometer of Beach in the South of France where hotel rooms start off at 20K a night. As well as some other beaches like that; gold rings are few and far between there. Lots of high end watches and other jewelry but rings are often Titanium.

My father in law also prefers titanium to any thing else and he owns Europe's largest Private Medical Insurance firm.

It is really up to the person I guess or culture. Here in Italy if you are not digging at least 3 ounces of gold a week then you have an issue. I have found stuff here on the beach made of Gold that I just wondered why someone would want this out of gold and why they would have it on the beach. In Germany I find lots of silver. In the Netherlands lots of fishing stuff; lol

I work with 100s of guys that make $100,000 a year and they love the tungsten ones - they like the hefty weight of them
also being new England - lot of bruins fans they will get black tungsten with gold high lights added - for the bruin colors

Any ring in my scoop is a good ring:) But I know what you mean about preferring the shiny stuff!
