:hello:Hi,

It's been a while, but was able to get in a small hunt in today's beautiful weather,

Hunted in combo rocks/moss/mud area ( love to hunt these areas) at shoreline and came up with a nice bit of silver which at first I thought was a portion of a necklace; it was "crumpled" up, and difficult to straighten out.

I checked around the rocky area under which I had found this piece, but heard not another sound.

When I got to the car, I realized that it was a ring and after a few minutes was able to straighten it out.

Here's a couple of pics.

Thanks for reading and viewing my finds

Wish you all the best out there

Lorraine

WTG Lorraine! It's has been gnarly weather here,so dry you feel like your breath comes out in dust form. Bet a dip in the ocean while hunting would feel good.

Excellent find and good cleaning job, Lorraine. I've been so frustrated I couldn't get out to the river or anywhere early in the morning when it's cool, I got out in the heat after church Sunday and found a 1946 Rosie, but started having chest pains and had to go home. Did me good doing some metal detecting where they had tore up the sidewalks, but they had put in fill dirt full of metal and it was touch on the stock coil and 5 x 8, but too hot and tired to put on the sniper coil. Water hunting is all I plan to do from now until it cools off in the fall. Glad you got out and found some jewelry.

Thank you, Fongu; sorry to read that you experienced chest pains while detecting; best that you stopped and went home to rest.

congrats on the '46 "Rosie"; I haven't found one in a while..just clads.

I think your plan to water hunt now until it cools off is a smart decision, and I wish you many rewards out in the water.

Take care.

Lorraine
