Found 10% of $50,000 but no value to me.

I have a way of finding rare or one of a kind treasures and this find proves it. Found this Cochlear implant processor while working the beach at low tide. At first I thought it was a Bluetooth earpiece, so in the bag it went. After the hunt, I showed the wife my finds and the funny Bluetooth device. She is an RN and reconinized what it was right away. Out came her phone to google my find and $50k to $100k popped up to have one implanted and $5k to $10k for the earpiece/processor. Although a big goose egg for any real value to me. This will go in my collection just for the conversation of the oddity of my find. You never know what you will have in your scoop and that thrill keeps the hunt going. image.jpeg

Ugly J you found the Ugliest treasure of the day! And one of the biggest in replacement cost. I feel for the one that lost it, more then likely a child just having fun. Hope there insurance covered a replacement.

Woah... I wonder how it became unimplanted. Any full sharks in the area?

Are they serialized? Have heard that expensive medical appliances are, I have no experience.
From a serial number maybe you can reach a grateful patient or family.

That is a unusual find for sure. Poor guy that lost it, walked around not being able to hear and the insurance company probably denied replacement.
