That was yesterday? UncW crowd? Dnot feel bad about the depositors. I went to an upscale beach with almost as many folks, didnt even find a penny. Folks might be getting smarter.

Well have to make new rule, to be on beach, must wear bling, dance in the waves throwing footballs after drinking a quart of moonshine.......:laughing7:

There are places that don't allow you to hunt certain times of year so it could be one of them. I know of a few that are off limits Mem day to labor day...I am sure the day after labor day is just like this.

Quite a few beaches like there here in MI - I hit one the day after labor day last year and only 1 other guy was there and I was there early morning to noon.
Didn't find anything worth mentioning ... I have the distinct feeling that local guys get in regardless of the rules and detect anyhow during the summer, no other explanation for a well used beach like that to be barren.

Beautiful Pic! Another with a little History........................I believe it !! Many of these beaches are heavily sanded over....on some beaches it is estimated that the clay or hardpan is like 3 to 5 feet below the current level of the beach!! On these beaches the only way to find old gold rings and silver coins is to hit it after a storm or hurricane!!
