I got out to a local beach today for 5 hours of detecting.My finds were $3.87 in clad coins and this little mystery item.It has 4 sides and measures 3 inches on all sides.Does any one have an idea what it is?It has a little opening by a little loop on the top.Thanks for your help.

The beveled glass can be easily acquired at stained glass shops, and the soldering looks kinda rough, like it was hand made...
Why?...dunno... Could be an art project, like it would hang from a rear view mirror....
Pretty cool, whatever it is....

If you're a tech junkie, you can experiment with it. I've heard you can hook those things up to the power grid and build yourself a controller, then dial in the period in time you want, and then you can zap high-dollar coins, stamps or other small artifacts back to you. ...But be wary - do NOT get your wires crossed. Doing so will zap YOU into some other dimension!! :laughing7:

BE VERY CAREFUL. THIS IS A POWERFUL DEVICE.

In the wrong hands it can be dangerous.

However, if used correctly pyramids can obviously be used for good for things like detecting coins and bending flowing water.
