big disappointment
got a nice signal off of the normal swim area at a fresh water beach - looked in scoop and saw large band
and thought "Oh yea..white gold band" - turned out to be titanium
got a merc way out far just sitting on some rocks
same area I was getting junk pieces upper left - which are pieces of props
not shown - 2 pairs of glasses and nice pair of goggles

Lots of targets there. I am surprised you didn't snag a gold ring. Bummer on the titanium. It sounds good too. -Joe

most of these finds were made outside the normal swim area - that area was peppered by locals during the summer I guess - so they got any gold
lot of this was in muck where they now fish mostly -some was way out where it is rocky but out past where the swim buoys are in season
this is not a normal spot of mine - over an hour from home but have gotten gold there in past years so I gave it a shot

At least you walked away with a ring. I'd trade junk earring for a ring like that any day.
