Chris, good luck, and if you find them online be sure to let us all know. The hard copies are also expensive. You will drop close to seventy to a hundred some odd dollars at West Marine for these charts. After the hurricanes, the West Marine in Melbourne (A1A, just south of Apollo), had some that were discounted because of water damage.

My dad had an awsome collection of charts. When he died my brother scooped them up and then moved to Canada. And he wont get off them. There has to be someone out there that has put them online. I just haven't hit the right buttons on the old keyboard yet. If I get some I will scan them in sections and post them. HH.

Buck,

I was going to offer the same thing. IF I find them I'll scan them into my Web server and share them with everyone here as long as nobody tells the man ;)

There are programs for boats which allow you to bring up a chart and peruse it
My favorite is The Captain of which I use the Voyager version, copies of programs and a few charts can usually be obtained from yachtsmen.

You can get FREE charts online from NOAA.? They are producing ENC's (Electronic Navigational Charts) that can be downloaded for FREE and viewed in a FREE viewer.? The viewer can be dowloaded from Fugawi.? I will post all the links below.? Go check it out.

NOAA ENCs? http://chartmaker.ncd.noaa.gov/MCD/enc/index.htm

FREE Viewers? ? http://chartmaker.ncd.noaa.gov/mcd/enc/resource.htm

FUGAWI Viewer (BEST)? ?http://www.fugawi.com/viewenc/viewenc.html

These charts can be used on some of the more sophisticated software.? There is a list of companies currently using the ENC format on the NOAA site.

Good Luck!

For those of you that want the Florida navigation charts I have the full Florida chart package on CD inJPG format ( I think.) so you can print them. These are not current but are about 10 years old . Most areas still the same but the I cannot guarentee the hazard info. always use caution when planning a trip and get the latest info. these are for general use only. PM me and I will see if I can Find the Disk. I think I still have it?
