Went down the Cape the other day to do some cold water hunting
water was around 52 - air around 55
the locals did not leave much - but did manage one large silver ring
It was crusted more than shown - still have to clean a bit more
was surprised it was missed - it was about waist deep water - down about 1 1/2 feet
I may try a few spots this weekend in the cold before I head to Fla.
2 bronze nails/spikes are from old ship

I would reuse that tackle down here in the keys in a heart beat. We love finding leads we can just tie back on and fish with.

Here I am thinking the visitors to the Cape took all the goodies with them.
Nice spikes, and ring. I don't know how I missed them...OH YES, I forgot the wet suit in the cold water and
you get out a bit deeper than I can in my 5mil waders. High winds and waves keeping me in fresh water today.
Enjoy and the book idea and cover look good!
Happy Thanksgiving and have a safe trip to the land of the sand...(so I am told) let us know your results.
