Was detecting on the Treasure Coast this weekend. I have the luxury only living about a hour south. I found these two nails in the dry way back near the dunes. I see a old weed line way back on the beach and I think it was from Hurricane Matthew last year.

What is strange on CTX they range up around
12.40. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1496011105.823330.jpg

So are they old from a shipwreck?

And if they are why the high reading.?

Will they stick to a magnet? How large are they vs a quarter? They look sort of like bronze nails.

Yes they will stick to a magnet.

Here is a picture with a quarter.

Correction: Retested with the CTX, they ring up 32-45 35-45.
