Kellyco is a very good company. 
I've bought several detectors, mail order through them. I've sold 3 units on consignment through them. If you buy your detector through them, you can re-sell on consignment. Last February I sold my excal 800 through consign and got a 1000. Also bought a straight shaft. My 1000 is brand spank-in new. :P
To prepare for an upcoming treasure huntin trip to Miami & Surround, I've been practicing with it in a sand volleyball court.
I found a couple of coins. 
I plan to hit other courts for preparation.
