I could see it if you were hitting an eroded area or could get in the water - but people have not been on that dry for days - soooo

though I'm being a hypocite - ive been in during water spouts - gales - blizzards - but I was in the water and was finding silver and gold

It looks like you're barefooted in that pic. Those water conditions look too rough for me too. But sometimes the conditions are worth fighting IF you're finding gold.

I thought it looked like snow. I'm a southerner and even with my heavy wetsuit I don't think I could handle that unless I was finding enough gold that it kept my mind completely off of me freezing my butt off. One of my friends from up in Connecticut came down here for a conference I hosted years ago during mid March and when I met him at the hotel he was in the pool and said the water must be heated and felt nice. Like an idiot I jumped in and I thought my limbs would snap off before I could get out. I don't do cold very well lol.
