My folks lived in Hernandez Beach, Spring Hill. My daughter lost my class ring in the canal behind my folks house.

    Ft Laud here, home survived.
Home from in SW Ga hit but ok, too.
Nothing remarkable to mention, I'm still standing, but barely, totally exhausted.
Hope others are faring as best as can.
Yesterday is history, tomorow a mystery. All we have is the here and now, it's a special gift. That's why we call it "The Present"

Pity the poor agnostic dyslexic insomniac who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a Dog.

And everyone should try to donate something to an upfront charity/relief effort. If everyone pitched in a little, it would make a huge difference, and yes, I already did. Hurricane season is only half over. Hope no more come, I hate storms.

I always wanted to hunt the beach after a hurricane, and moved to SW Florida a couple years ago. Well here is my chance and I will say it will be weeks if not months before I head to the beach, there are just so many people that need help. My free time will be used helping friends, neighbors and strangers get back on their feet before I will feel right metal detecting again. But I'm sure I will go, once things get back to normal.

If Jose skims the East Coast OUT TO SEA, that is, I'll venture down for MD'ing and the shells and sea glass. If it comes inland, forget it.

Tarpon/PH area...not bad in my neighborhood.
But, around the block and you would think you were
in one of the Caribbean islands with all the trees down.
Tampa Bay lucked out big as all of us here know, it really could have been much worse.
    Thank Heavens
