Hi All,
Anyone ever used a Waterproof Dry Bag for the Sovereign control unit? I would like to try my Sov in the water and have seen the Plano Guide Box tutorial. I would like it to be lighter in weight than the Plano and at least splash proof.

I'm considering the Dry Sak waterproof bag.

Your thoughts and ideas are much appreciated.
Thank you,
Rusty

I do not believe you will be able to roll down the top with wires protruding and still maintain the waterproof integrity of the bag, not to mention that bending the wires as closing the bag would require would be detrimental to their life expectancy. Also it would be impossible to get to the controls IF you could close the bag. Is you just need to splashproof - wrap with a plastic stretch wrap product.

Good luck, once it gets salt water in it it will be a paper weight.
