My old hunting Buddy got back together this summer after 7 years. We always competed on most gold, most silver coins. This summer I found this ring(s) it has beeb gold welded together. I think it should be counted as 2 he says one. What do you folks think? ??? ???

Well, my opinion would be just one since it is one item that you don't take apart.

i'd say that it is two, merely tacked together, an unmatched engagement ring and wedding band set ( a set is two ? / yes ).
what part of Maine are you from ?, i'm in the York / Kittery area.

Sorry, but my vote would have to be one, as they are permanently attached. Even if it did originally start out as two separate pieces, it was lost as one piece.

Thanks Ed you are absolutely right! It (they) was found in a little cove, that for some geographical reason , attracted every piece of foil on the lake, the last signal after a long day. You know one of those, "one more good signal and I'll leave". My only regret it that there was no way to return it. The band was very new the engagement ring was older.
