This is a superb product for any waterproofing jobs. It flows really well to surround a pot or pass though and is removable. I've been looking for this type of a sealant for a long time--silicone and Goop are so hard to work with and begin to dry as you are trying to apply them. Half of these products have dried up in the tube when you need them. The Permatech also comes with a detail applicator tube but you hardly need it--it molds so well with a Q-Tip. It's in the automotive section.

how does it hold up in saltwater ?
some do not hold up long in salt water
there are some marine sealants that are made for saltwater - I used a few years ago on my Pi Pros
boxes warped from being in sun and had small leaks - every time I changed batteries I would seal the box
never leaked again

Ya some of the plain silicone without an adhesive like RTV or gasket makers tend to just pull off in one piece after being in salt water for a time. Joe mentioned he never used much silicone because moisture still seemed to form in it on say pizzos.
