Health issues and bad weather on my days off been keeping me from getting out
Hit cold water at pounded beach at low tide - slow going - everything faint and deeeeep
silver ID bracelet went off as a "ghost" signal ... I always fan these to see if signal gets solid and louder
it did and was glad I went for it - bout an ounce of silver - got a few silver crusted dimes and finally
got a gold class ring - 1953
Funny thing is - I got a ring pretty much identical except for the date (it was 1956) last Fall
there - brass tag was interesting - has 1956 on it with a C.P. under it - I thought at first it was a dog license
but think it might be a beach tag

Keys were down deep - all in one hole - I kept digging and checking and digging and checking and kept getting a reading in the hole
reading was faint and got louder as I dug down - then it was not as loud - so I thought I might have pushed item down with lip
of scoop - one more scoop and I had it - a key - I thought that a few scoop before - target had gone off like a half dollar and
scanned the sand I had dumped outside the hole - yup...multiple targets on the surface.
keys look to be late 60s or 70s style - what do you think

70s to 90s GM car keys by the looks of it. I've owned many sets just like those. Bet the owner had a few choice words once he realized those were gone!
Great find on the gold too, congrats!

Good to see your well and able to get out, And a Good Outing!! Congrads on the Gold and Silver!!

Hey, I remember that crazy day I forgot my drygloves, has not happened again..yet..:BangHead:

Like the dated beach tag, I've never found one with a date before, most a number and maybe the name or initials of the location.

I'm falling apart head to toe - seriously - only joy I pretty much have is getting out there in the water
missed the Spring land field hunting season - which I usually look forward to... by I digress
Will be heading to Bahamas Memorial day weekend - so hope I will have something to show from there

Here is one I got from same beach last year in same area - I was a little bit deeper this time with negative tide
I don't know the school though - T could be town name - could be Technical HS - mascot is an owl - if I find the school
can try and make returns

Just realized the difference between the 2 is that the side emblems are reversed - 1953 owl is on the other side

Hoping the best for you - years ago broke my thumb and could not use my left for months - I could have land hunted but wanted to get in the water
itching to get out - I bought this to water proof my cast and carried my scoop under my arm pit - luckily water was calm so I could stop and then scoop with my right
was slow going but I did get gold that day - if you can get someone to dig for you -would be ideal
