Hi,

I am back ;)

some news from the next Fisher Aquamanta

for those who have not followed the story
Alexandre who has developed manta technology
MANTA METAL DETECTORS | PULSE INDUCTION HIGH SENSITIVITY
was bought back and hired by the Fisher First Texas group

are on the program
at first the Fisher Aquamanta
a pulse with extraordinary sensitivity to gold
calibrate to 7us // 16 volts
and able to cut iron under certain conditions

he can take an alliance 18k of 1/3 gr under iron nails
and above all he is able to cross the volcanic sand to take the gold

a video that dates a little / but shows the possibility of the machine
which has evolved a lot since

in French :-*

it will be followed by a special Terramanta nugget

then / two others using Bipolar technology
which consists of alternating positive and negative pulses

easy to say on paper / but nobody had ever succeeded before Alexandre ...
the positive pulse magnetizes the ground and lightning the target
the negative pulse demagnetizes the ground = and removes the effect of ground !!!

and much more is planned later

I test the latest Aquamanta Fisher electronic map
and I've never had anything so deep and sensitive about gold

not : the box on the video and the photos
just there / to test the cards
the final product will have a modern / lightweight design and well balance...

pre-series launch / if all goes well /
in the next three months

better than all my pulsepowers
and I owned 9 ....

some finds on my last tides

Looks promising. I wonder what a silver ring or coin would do under those same circumstances. Or maybe a tiny gold or platinum engagement ring.

you mean: with the rejection of iron ?
with the rejection / he does not take the silver
or a little bit depends on the setting of the rejection

by cons
the more the ring in gold or platinum will be light
better it will perform in the iron

on the video the ring is taken under two nails
we take it now under a handful of nail
with a clean sound

the bigger the mass of gold becomes
the harder it is / the conductivity signature gets closer to the iron ...

and in all metals mode
at 7us you will take a ring of 2gr 18k
at the current depth of your detectors of a big ring

the 7us brings a huge gain on the finest / lightest bjoux
and of course / on the bigger ones going deeper

I’m getting acquainted with LE JAG - so I hope he doesn’t mind my suggested clarifications for his post. See below...

you mean: with the rejection of iron ?
with the rejection / he does not take the silver
or a little bit depends on the setting of the rejection

by cons (conversely)
the more the ring in gold or platinum will be light (the lighter the ring)
better it will perform in the iron

on the video the ring is taken (detected) under two nails
we take (detect) it now under a handful of nail
with a clean sound

the bigger the mass of gold becomes
the harder it is (to detect while using iron rejection) / the conductivity signature gets closer to the iron ...

and in all metals mode
at 7us you will take a ring of 2gr 18k
at the current depth (that your current best detectors can detect a large ring) of your detectors of a big ring

the 7us brings a huge gain on the finest / lightest bjoux
and of course / on the bigger ones going deeper

I saw a video of this detector that was hitting solid on a gold ring and a piece of iron with the same sound...he made a setting adjustment and the gold sounded the same but the iron gave a terrible broken, grunting signal...I was hoping this was real...I was going to get an Equinox but decided to wait and see if this detector was really going to happen...looks good so far.

You are using principles of light to explain PI? My question is if this effects the ground this way, is it safe?

Ah, the terrible English language! He meant light (as in not heavy) not light (as in not dark). And when he slight lightening the target, he meant energizing it so as to produce eddy currents.

The Manta (or whatever Fisher names it) will revolutionize wet salt beach and salt water detecting FOR GOLD HUNTERS. It is totally optimized to uncover previously undetectable gold jewelry (and coins for that matter) which other detectors lacked the smooth operation and sensitivity to reach.

The high power, extremely low noise circuitry and the revolutionary minimum pulse delay of less than 8 microseconds - make it possible to find much smaller and much deeper gold than any previous detector. Add to that the ability to detect gold while excluding iron, and some folks are going to make some serious discoveries.

as Rick said, I misspoke
the machine does not send lightning lol :occasion14:

in principle / it is a conventional PI
but, the voice of iron and the voice of gold
have been separated to the extreme
which makes it possible to detect gold under the iron
or in the volcanic sand / which is iron / granulate

add to that, a silence out of the ordinary for a PI
the delay has 7us under 16 volts of tension

in all metals on a gold ring
the depth exceeds everything you've seen at the beach ...

If you click on the link to the website, the "news" is over 2 years old. Anything actually new going on? When will the detector be in production and/or available to purchase?

The website was Alexandre’s. He developed the Manta on his own - 15,000 hours over 10 years. Fisher acquired the program and hired Alexadre last April. Since then the final development of the electronic package has been done and the mechanical package designed and tooling is next. Then pre-production prototype testing of the complete device followed by production realease and product launch.

Next year? Maybe sooner? Nobody in Ft Worth is saying. But it looks like it really will happen - they are now very far down the road.

Again, this is a beach machine of unparalleled depth with an iron ID function designed to isolate low conductors - like gold jewelry.

I watched the video. Reminds sounds a bit like the TDI. Looks like it’ll be a killer on the beach for deep heavy gold.

You are right about the TDI lineage - Alexandre based his development on the work of Eric Foster.

The gold finding is not only big stuff deep, but tiny and low carat stuff.

I heard there was a compare of the new Fisher aqua manta PI against a Aquastar II and I heard the results but wonder if anyone else has?

I know no details, but the comparison with a specially Eric Foster tuned Aquastar was useful to Fisher and details of the design were tweaked as a result. LE JAG has posted that the revised current prototype is equal or superior to the Aquastar in all respects.
