Over 5 pounds and a battery life of 6 hours according to Whites website. For me it sounds like just another pulse detector. I'm waiting for a pulse machine with the true discrimination of VLF, it has to be able to discriminate out iron.

I see people always posting they will buy a water proof TDI and it will probably turn out hardly any of them will like usual.
They complain about Bottle Caps on the NOX wait to they try out the TDI LOL.

It’s a pulse alright..a pulse demon! TDI pro was 5lbs, nothing new. Only now you don’t have to worry about your 1500$ machine getting fried. 6 lbs is nothing if you strap to your side or over shoulder.

Bottle caps isnt the issue for me, pieces of iron are.

A lot of new bottle caps sound like gold or silver just like pull tabs, gotta dig caps just like pull tabs if you wanna find the good stuff. Some caps give a bit of iron tone letting you know but some don’t at all.

TDI BH is an excellent detector to use the things I've found with mine will not be found with any other PI detector available and in use now, or what might be in the future.

Do you hunt in the water or a dry/wetsand hunter? I've heard it's noisy in/under the water.

I wonder how noisy?.. not good to hear considering I’m looking to purchase one maybe in the spring. I really want a deep seeker in my arsenal when conditions are right. Some days when you go out with just a VLF and you get hardly any signals, that’s when I wish I had a deeper machine. I bought the Nel attack coil for my AT pro but I don’t see much change in depth. It air tests almost the same depth as my 5/8 coil.

PI detectors make all sorts of weird noises you’re not used to If you are using a VLF

...I figured that. I’ve listened to the TDI in videos and it seems to sing once in a while as you’re hunting. Kinda like the GPX how it makes its wows and wooos
