Juat got back from a short vacation at the beach, and this was the first time I've actually used a metal detector in the sand. I had a few people tell me it was a waste of time, since that beach "gets hit hard", but I'm in it for peace of mind as much as anything, so I figured if I find something, great, if not, at least in not at work.

A couple of pics:

I found two ear rings, a gold hoop, and a copper and turquoise one.

Hope this works. . .

That’s the right attitude mate! Nice job. That’s usually when you find the gold, when people tell you you’re wasting your time.

Whites Treasuremaster.

I had several people come up and ask me what machine I was using. Everyone was really friendly, but there was a time or two, that when I told them what it was, the response was, "Oh."

I really like it. I wish the display was backlit, but for the money, it's great.

Yeah ain't that the truth. I was being heckled by a lady once at a swimming hole because I was using prospecting classifiers to look for jewelry (not raw gold). Anyway, not a minute after she tells me there "isn't any gold here, your wasting your time" I pull out a 10k ring.
