It was 45 in Sarasota when the sun was coming up and tide was at its lowest this morning. Water temp is maybe high 60s. I am still inside! Maybe tomorrow. I wimp out when it is cold. Full 5 mm wetsuit for sure in the water.

How far that tide goes out depends a lot on the wind direction and strength as well. Ive seen low tides....... get there and get surprised because the wind kept the tide higher than i expected. Water Temp is about 67..... but im skinny and would much rather sweat so i wear a heavier wet suit too.

Went out yesterday and low tide was out at least 80 to 100 yards hunted nothing but wet sand and targets were slim I ended up with 1 small silver ring a junk bracelet and almost 1.50 in change but that is to be expected this time of year
