Nice ring! You’re on a roll with the gold. Do you still use your miller scoop getting those golds?

Wow, Ron. You just keep em coming, lol. Wish I was working my detector as well as you are yours, I know a lot of it is the where too...

Btw, not to derail but what is the miller scoop and what happened that you didn't get yours back?

I tried to look it up but all I found was short plastic scoops that looked like animal feed scoops?

a miller scoop had a big round handle and was one of the best scoops to have in 80's and 90's the man that was repairing it died and his family won't send it back.

14 kt . 10 inches deep sand . waist deep water with Equinox 800

So.... I've been reading about your gold finds. LOTS of gold finds....... Since you live at least 1 1/2 hrs from the nearest beach how do you get all the time to hunt and how come others from the same beaches don't find much? $32,000 chains, $18,000 rings.... I've been hunting beaches for 40 years and have yet to find a gold chain or expensive ring..... So do tell....
