I have a couple of Excal blues and have the SEF 12x15 and 15x17 on them. They have always worked great!! got seven-eight years out of them.

I just recently bought two new Excal II's and had a Nel Tornado added to one for the wife when I ordered them. I considered leaving mine with the 10" for when I dive. Think I want to go ahead and upgrade it.

Which is most popular today?

I have three Excals myself. One with a Coiltek 15" WOT, one with the NEL 15" Attack, and one with the stock 10" Overall, I like the NEL the best for dry and wet sand. For strictly underwater use, the stock works best, as it's easier to swing. Surf hunting is tough regardless of which one you use.

I went with the Tornado 10 , from my GT on the Excal Blue 1000, On the Blue 800 I put the Nel 12x13 Tornado for Excaliburs' and Sov., I haven't used it yet , however hoping to get a few more inches over stock, it's a little bigger than the 10, however the weight isn't to bad at all, i will be using both Excalibur's in July , and August, today i used the Equinox with the 15 inch coil , the water temp., is still keeping people out , but it has been warming up , running the 10x12 sef on the GT, however it has been in the closet , good luck with your choice , Earl
