OBN would be man to ask since he is from MD. too
I wear wet suits year round - just use a thicker one in colder waters - my waters get a little colder than yours do I think
I usually get tired before I get cold

Normally I don't mind sharing this info but it cost me a few years ago and still is...
.............. Best the Bay hunters learn like I did on this....All I can recommend now, waders and a good dry top.
