S.C., Flipperfla is correct, you can't detect anywhere on the island from Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach since that is designated National Seashore. That also includes as was stated, the Fort Pickens area.

We have been going to Navarre Beach since the nineties. You can detect the beach by Navarre Beach so good luck.

Thanks. Thats what I thought but not knowing the area I wasn't sure. I have been on Navarre beach several times already.
