JW Fisher Pulse 8X, Anybody Use One

JW Fisher has been at for a while.
They make good stuff.
Used their mags in the 80's.
Anybody using the Pulse 8X?
I am still a dealer for JW and every now and then they send me promo offers.
Even at dealer promo they're still pretty costly.
Looking to upgrade my PI.
Any thoughts on the 8X?

I have one on my bench, in working condition, new battery pack but a problem with the charging circuit.
I personally would not use one for the everyday chest deep detecting. other less costly detectors are more fit for that environment.
Sucba looking for cannons, larger objects, yes, I see a use for it.

I own one too - took it out yrs ago to a spot that was moderately trashy and had fresh drops - was hard to use for me
specially when you have close targets - like a handful of pennies in one spot
i have some beaches i should take it to and try where ive gotten whispers with the CZ and pulled goodies close to 2ft
where i think there is more even deeper - maybe some day
I should just sell it and put money towards something I would use more
i have talked to a couple of guys in the past that do use theirs for everyday hunting and do great
you just got to learn the signals and learn to dig it all
