    A Small Fresh Water Cut

This is a lake that is drawn down in the fall every year this being said I hunt it a lot as you dont need waders.
We had some high winds last week witch I did not think would have much effect on a lake.
When I got there I noticed the small indentation at the wave line that was not there before.
In that little cut I got all these, they were all deep targets, and I was amazed at how much 2 to 4 inches of sand taken away can do to exposing targets below. Using a TDI BH.
I have been detecting for a long time and this was my first Horseshoe nail ring, not one but 2.

Effort is Important, But knowing where, can make all the difference!
