    A little bit of carbon.

I always feel sorry for the ladies that loose these! Hall marked 750, I do not have my diamond tester with me... but it looks good, has 4.1 mark inside..would think .4 Karat... I know the gold is worth more than the stone.
    Thanks for looking Terry.

    That's a beauty! Congratulations!

And I know where your coming from......All of the effort behind that ring then looking down and seeing it gone. Has to be a shocker ...No doubt tears of sorry.

Great find and I love the hallmarks. Seems like every "diamond" ring I find is fake:

Thanks for the replies. This beach has had about half a meter of sand washed away ...its been lost for a while, the solder mounting the stone has gone green. The ring is marked FOREVER ( was ) and has a small stone on the inside.
They only have real value to the guy who payed for it and the lady that was wearing it... even the high end jewellery you only get a fraction of its original value.
