For booties? Leather boots? tennis shoes? I usually just set a wet pair of leather boots on top of my water heater overnight. Surf booties I hang upside down on a couple of broom handles. Tennis shoes go into the clothes dryer.

Does a fan count, as an electric boot dryer? :icon_scratch: :laughing7:

I use a regular fan sometimes on undergarments since I sweat a lot in the drysuit. For the drysuit and boots I use these. Drysuit/wetsuit fan, just zip the suit up then it hangs up and the boots if they collect any moister the mice finish off the drying. They can be used for neoprene also along with the hangup dryer for a neoprene wetsuit.

I always used to sit my shoes wedged behind the wall and the refrigerator.(on the top)Hot air rises from the condenser / compressor. Sounds crazy, but boots are always dry the next morning. You are already paying for the electricity...Im talking elastic sided leather work boots but works for most wet shoes and boots.

I use an old (about 30 y.o)"Peet, the shoe dryer" and an identical looking model about 20 years old with the Cabela's name on it, mostly for hip boots and chest waders. You can add tubular sections to lengthen the legs for chest waders.

Once, in a fancy hotel in Chicago, I used the electric hair dryer from the bathroom to dry the only pair of shoes I had for the trip. That worked too.

Home Depot or Walmart has a battery oprated fan, it'll run off DD batteries or electric current.
I keep rechargeables & regular batteries.
That might help in camping situations.

If you got to travel with wet booties, get a bunch of those USPS flat mailers.
They're made of Tyvek, they're waterproof.
I use them all the time for wet booties & bathing suits.

Yes - this is the one I use, or at least an older version of it. I have two, one about 30 y.o. and the "newer" one with a Cabela's name on it about 20 y.o. along with extension tubes to use to dry chest waders. Only issue with this type of boot dryer is that its too big for travel. I keep one in my garage bathroom and one in my laundry room.
