Last I heard it was being updated to pass EU certification. Since it will be marketed in Europe. I was hoping to see it by summer but with all going on I'm not sure on anything at this point.

Fisher clearly doesn't know how to build marketplace excitement like Minelab !

Hi,

some news, despite the current situation ...
it is in production, a hundred units are being assembled
do not ask for when the first sales: I do not know ...

and the virus will probably slow everything down ...

my last outing / before confinement, here in France
a beach that had dig well
1.5 meters less sand / remnants of war 39/45
came out !! find many German mine heads

101.JPG 101.JPG

and among all its pieces of brass
some gold

I do it,
on this spot, at least 10/15 prospectors
are come before me
fortunately / all had Minelab
exca / GT / Etrac / Equinox
and especially no pulse // except mine
result = 11 gold ring
18k find in four days :))

a video of the hunt to pass the time
A lot of wind, again ....

and, wherever you are in the world,
Take care !

Thanks,

among the jewelry,
there is a rather old ring, 18th, I think
with the three red stones / setting of the stones in closed setting
find on the area of the old bronze nails
but this one is made of copper...

the hair pin is quite old too, all copper, enamel

Is there something difficult about your sand? Most of the rings you found looked to be fairly shallow. I dig deeper ones than those with my Excal and NOX unless I'm in nasty black sand.......and I don't dig the nails....unless they're copper/brass.

there were hot stones
on the spot / sandstone

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grès_(géologie)

it rings in all metals
even with bbs / vlf (all metals)
I think they lose depth

the big signet ring 13.5gr / 18k
was the deepest / out of reach of a bbs

the last two rings of the video
were found on the last day
several guys must pass over
without seeing them .....

For me it's the best test
in real condition
of course there is the experience that plays
but either be much better /
than everyone else
or so, which seems more realistic to me
I have a better detector....

At this point it gives Fisher a little more breathing room since no one can use the machine with the current situation. Right now Summer seems to be a good target for those 100 units...... thou honestly the US beaches may open first.

So can I. No viruses out in the ocean, and nobody will be anywhere near me.

Im Fishers greatest fan but feel FT lost all focus on moving fwd. The website, and whole approach has been dismal at best. How many months have passed since this whole rumour started? It seems like the Cygnus team have done better in 6 months than FT in 6 years? The rumour that it will be priced at $2k ??!! They should at least drop the price of the CZ? Or make a waterproof single frequency or SOMETHING that is more market relevant? Or a land version of the CZ ? or a cheap version of the F75.... Its almost embarrassing how out of touch they are.
Minelab and Nokta just seem to have tried. Even the AT max was an underwhelming desperate attempt at rehashing the same old AT from Garrett....

Please Fisher, I beg of you. Affordable, waterproof, innovative....even the Vanquish had a better warm up...

The FT range has been out so long that the tooling must have paid for itself over and over....The flagship F75....2007. Imagine all the car companies,or tech ... Apple, Samsung, Google etc just said in 2007 " OK, job done" see you back here in 13 years.... I apologise to go on about it. I will stop now. But Im wondering how many brand loyal customers were lost over the decades. Or maybe I was wrong and innovation was nowhere on the business plan. F11 sales at wallmart being the way forward financially?

I just spoke for a long time with an old friend who actually tested the Manta a few months back. He said it was faulty (wired wrong). So with testing units being sent out without any quality control it was impossible to give a proper report. He also did indeed confirm that FT is focused primarily on online sales of the bottom end of the FT range. This explains why their marketing strategy has simply been posts by enthusiasts on forums like this . He also said that although the Manta appeared deep he still preferred the CZ 21.
