Well me and my wife had to make the dreaded trip to Walmart after 3 weeks of sitting at the house. It turned out better than I expected! I have not been able to get out like everyone else, so I have not hunted in a while.
As we started to go in the store, walking in the entrance I turned to see about getting a buggy. I opted not to but saw something bounce from my wife's shoe. Low and behold I saw a ring under the buggies. I looked around and no one was near so I bent down picked it up and thought SCORE I felt it had weight and saw the breathing holes so I handed it to her to look at for hallmarks.

Wound up being 10K with 85 diamonds. The biggest in center about 1/3rd carat.

Wow that is beautiful! Your wife must be a happy camper, unlike the poor woman who lost it. I bet you are glad that you got out

If you do THAT well without a detector imagine how well you'll do with a detector! Congrats Eagle Eye

Im itchin to go , they opened the beaches last week. Just not sure its worth it at the moment. I hear they keep everyone moving pretty steady. NO sitting/ standing in one place. I might try later this week.

Nice eyeball find! That’s how us Detectorist are, always looking on the ground for stuff. Pays off to keep your eyes open even when you don’t have your detector. I’m always looking in the parking lots as I’m walking to a store or anywhere really.

That poor woman...perhaps a call to Walmart might help find the owner? I imagine she is sick to her stomach right now...
